I love this to create my Christmas Mailing List, Bocce Player List, Pickleball List and many more. I have exported only phone numbers and managed to text 100 people at once without typing their phone#. Simply strip out the special character and the 1 with the Option before you export. It is fabulous.

I live in the apple universe. I needed a .CSV file for importing my contacts to Evite website. To complete the task:
1. exported the apple Contacts as .vCard
2. opened .vCard file in Exporter for Contacts 2, selected fields to Display Name and Email only, converted to .CSV folder
3. opened .CSV file in Numbers and reduced to 2 columns(fullname & email)
4. uploaded to Evite website for final review before sending invitations.
Works as advertised!

finally a solution that works for exporting from Apple Contacts, doesn't require scripting, and lets you capture all the info in Contacts -- from fields like URLs with multiple values to social media handles that don't get exported when you drag contacts to Numbers or use vCards. Thank you! I only wish I had found you sooner.

Danke für die aktualisierte Rezension! Ich freue mich, dass jetzt alles zur Zufriedenheit funktioniert. Exporter for Contacts 2 und Importer for Contacts sind vom technischen Unterbau her leider zu verschieden, so dass es (momentan) zu kostenintensiv wäre, beide Programme zu einem zu verschmelzen.
Solves a nagging void in contact management

Vcards are all well and good, but neither Apple's "Contacts" app/database nor my preferred "Busy Contacts" app supports exports beyond Vcards. That's a huge mystery (what are they afraid of?), but Exporter does the job. It makes lining up and selectively exporting contacts painless and fast. If you're weary of the inability to use your contacts for anything beyond your contact app's limited capabilities, this will do the job for you.

After emailing the developer, he helped guide me through the process of exporting everything, even custom labels that our company created.

For a DECADE Apple Contacts has been an INCREDIBLY FRAGILE, problem prone and buggy for contacts database more than 1000. This is ESSENTIAL safety net to avoid teh crashes , sluggihsness and randomly [and temporaility] MISSING contacts in the Apple Contacts database. I always want a text file export that can be imported into Filemaker if needed.

Ich habe schin die erste version genutzt und war hoch erfreut über die einfache Bedienung. Mit der neuen Version wurde die bedienung nohcmals vereinfacht. Es bedarf keiner großen Handbücher, um seine Kontakte in einem gewünschten Format zu exportieren. Ich kann das Tool wärmstens empfehlen und ddanke den Entwickler für seine gelungene Arbeit.
Leider gibt es "nur" fünf Sterne. Ich würde sie glatt verdoppeln.

I got my single column of email addresses within a minute. I have 5000 contacts, it handled it no problem. There is a little clean up work to do using Search and Replace in Pages say.. where there is a home and work email, it put them next to each other on one line, easy to fix with Replace.. so I'm not bothered. Was hunting for this for awhile, glad I found it here on the App Store. Thank you for making this. $9.99 is an easy price to afford.

Finally a seriously good solution for generating CSV or Excel files right out of your Mac's contact app! It's shocking Apple doesn't offer this natively with the app, but what Stefan Keller has created is likely better than any native functionality Apply might have implemented.

Exporter for contacts en version 1 était une application très bien faite et utile pour des exports multiformats des données gérées par l’application Contacts d’Apple. La version 2 est encore meilleure, avec une ergonomie améliorée (elle ne fonctionne qu’avec des machines équipées de macOS Big Sur). Et cette mise à jour est gratuite pour les utilisateurs de la version 1 ! Si vous ne l’avez pas déjà achetée, son prix est des plus raisonnables compte tenu des services rendus. Incontournable. Un grand merci au développeur :-)

Das Upgrade ist nicht nur vom layout frischer, sondern hat noch einmal weitere Exportfunktionen hinzugewonnen. Das nun die Unterschiede von Win-Outlook und Mac-Outlook berücksichtigt werden, ist super. Das das Upgrade Jahre nach Kauf der Vorgängerversion kostenlos ist, entspricht erfreulicherweise nicht dem Zeitgeist, alles auf Abo umzustellen. Dafür gibt es gern eine Spende.
