Export Apple Mac iCal/iCloud/Google calendars to Excel and CSV
Export Calendars Pro, a dedicated Mac app, allows you to easily export events and reminders from your Mac's Calendar and Reminders apps to Excel, CSV, tab-delimited text, or the clipboard. It supports all calendar sources Apple's Calendar app does, including Google and Exchange calendars. Unlike other export tools, it exports special fields like event duration, useful for determining billable hours. It also works with BusyCal and Fantastical, provided the calendars used are configured in Apple's Calendar app.
Many users do store additional data in the Notes field of an event. Export Calendars Pro can extract various data types from the event notes and location and is able to export them as separate fields, e.g. Address data, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. An event's title, location and notes can also be split into separate segments using a customizable delimiter. Each segment can then be exported to a separate column. The app can also extract labeled values. Assuming your event notes contain the lines “Customer: ACME, Inc.” and “Hourly rate: 60”, you can export the values “ACME, Inc” and “60” into separate columns.
The app is designed to work with Apple's Calendar app, but except for some vendor-specific extensions, it also works with third-party calendar apps like BusyCal and Fantastical, as long as the calendars used there are also configured in Apple's Calendar app.
The app is capable of organizing multiple export setups in templates to make repeated exports easier. An export template remembers the fields that were selected for the export, in which order they were arranged, the data sorting options, and the selected export format.
Export Calendars Pro also supports Apple's Shortcuts app, which lets you automate exports.
These features make the app a useful addition to your workflow if you manage billable tasks and appointments via your iCloud calendars on your Mac, iPhone and iPad and want to regularly transfer this data to a billing program.
As with all of our other apps, Export Calendars Pro doesn't collect any data. All conversion takes place locally on your Mac.
Export Calendars Pro is a paid app. A trial version can be downloaded here.
